What a joke
My wife and I took our RY to Diamond RV for service and repair. I high-lighted the issues I wanted repaired. 1. Brakes. 2. Steering tightened. 3. All heat fixed. Shocks replaced and overall balance. Then to go bumper to bumper to find what may be wrong- need fixed. Please make ready for a long drive to California. Fill lp and fresh water. They had our RV for seven weeks, did they do as promised? NO WAY... I had to call to get them to even work on it, I had to visit to show I needed the RV. They took so long my reservations had to be cancelled twice. When we finally were called to pick it up for it was done. The dash heat/ air did not work at all. The two heaters in the roof blew only cold air. The wipers worked very slow if they would work from time to time. They was a head light out. HOW COULD THEY MISS THAT ?? Paid a lot , I did not get service, I got cheated.

Service department is horrible
I had a two small hot water heater leaks. The pressure release valve and drip under the inside sink. The only option I had they told me was to replace the ENTIRE hot water tank, for $1100.00. That made no sense to me, but after a few back and forth calls to managers I said, go ahead and do it, but I want to see the so called crack in the tank as to why it needs to be replaced. The service manager EJ called the next morning to tell me it would best for all involved if I just came and got my unit. Diamond managers discussed it and they thought it was best if I had the work done elsewhere. We scooted to Lake George for camping and called the local team who comes to the park for repairs. S & S RV Repairs came out and repaired, not replaced, the hot water tank. Its 90.00 for the emergency call, before they even start work add on 110.00 an hour. Total of 348.00 and the hot water heater is perfect!! Diamand RV service could have fixed my hot water heater for about 250.00, but wanted to charge me 1100.00. NEVER again will I spend at diamond rv. Scammers and not trust worthy.

A big scam
Over the winter I had some body work done by Diamond RV in Hatfield, MA. I had also given them a list of other things that I wanted to get accomplished while my rig was in the shop. The first person I dealt with understood what needed to be done and assured me that all would be taken care of. Upon going to pick it up, I found that the body work was done pretty well. Everything else had not been addressed or completed. Having paid out $6500.00, I wasn't incredibly pleased. The one major thing was that my Aux start was not working. When I called, the gentleman told me that he forgot to tell me that it needed a part that had not come in yet. As far as the other requests that I had asked, he said, "Oh... I thought all that stuff was done." He reported he would take care of everything once the part came in for the Aux start. I waited a couple... few weeks and called. Asking for the person, I was told he "was not in". A month after that I was forwarded to another person who let me know that he had been fired. She was an upgrade in personality and quality at first sight. I brought my rig in once again making the hour trek to Hatfield... this time feeling confident that everything would get done. Upon picking it up, I was assured that everything worked out good and gladly paid them another $1600.00 for the peace of mind that our travels would be fine. I tucked my rig back into storage until school got out and have used it the last 2 weekends. Out of a list of 12 things... 6 of them had been complete. I unfortunately was in a position where I had to use my Aux start... it didn't work. I had someone look at it and no work had been done on it. The "part" that they had ordered and charged me 4 hours of labor on?? It was on the front seat of my rig when I picked it up. I asked about it and she told me that "it must be the one they took out". I said, "are you sure...this thing looks awful shiny to be a bad part" Of course I took her word for it. I just spoke with her on the phone and she reported that she trusts that what her workers said they did was complete... and that she checked some of the work herself. She is a good girl... they are very nice people. However, they charged money that they did not complete work on. They took advantage of a consumer that knows very little about mechanics. What I do know is that it is now a trust issue. I always trust people until they give me a reason not too. For these reasons, I would recommend that if you do have work done there, figure out a way to go through each issue that you want fixed when you go to pick it up. I got robbed... I hope you have a better experience

Diamond RV Horrible To deal with!
I purchased a new Montana 5th wheel at 55K and recently went in for a trade towards a used class c. I owe nothing on the 5th wheel and it was only used twice. So I ask what is the selling price of the used class c. Salesman stated 64K, now book value is only at 43ish and needs cosmetic work. So i explain to him that I could purchase a new class c at that price. So he's off to the managers office and comes back with a 14k difference between my trade and the class c. Basically I advised them that they loose their local cutomers due to the number games they play and horrible service. So to sell a used unit and ask MSRP for the unit which is a 2004 is an insult to a buying customer. Second issue is the warranty repairs yes repairs......you would think an almost 60k new unit would be ready to use. Fridge stoppped working the second time of camping and the inverter fuses were never plugged back in. Found out after winterizing unit when battery went dead. So used the unit only twice they had it for a month for the fridge repair and also left unit unlocked on lot so general public could have accessed at any time.
